GOV. MAKINDE ATTACKED IN KOGI
Masked men today 15th Nov 2019 with weapons attacked the governor of Oyo state gov. Seyi Mkinde in koji state. Information reaching us that they broke into a hotel where he lodge at about 12:50 pm.
These armed men, wearing police uniforms gained access to the hotel where he was lodged through the hotel fence and attempted to attack Gov. Seyi Makinde and others that were in the hotel as at that time.
However, according to Taiwo Adisa the chief press secretary to the governor the security men on duty and some other residents of the area prevented the attack thereby saving the life of the governor of Oyo state Seyi Makinde.
Furthermore, according to the statement released by Taiwo Adisa today, Seyi Makinde is in Lokoja as the chairman of peoples democratic party’s kogi state campaign council.
Information reaching us that these armed men dressed in police uniforms scaled through the fence and started shooting in an attempt to break into the hotel rooms wasn’t successful though.
